According to our government, NO WAY!!!
To hear them tell it, our Nuclear facilities are 100% safe, superior in every way against such calamity. UHmmmm mmmm right.
I think until they can safely figure out what to do with the waste produced by these facilities they should cease using them.

In Japan gegege is the word on everyone's tongue this season.
It comes from the phenomenal mind of cartoonist Shigeru Mizuki
whose wonderful animated sereis "gegege no Kitaro" continues to
delight generations of Japanese. This lil guy taken a sake bath
is the main character's dad.
