this is really cool and well done. I like the concept and the calmind colours...tnx for comments...guess you ave been in the Phil since you know s.miguel beer ;)
I love the feeling of movement you've achieved in this piece. It does have the look of origami, but it seems to be in rhythmic motion. The colors are very tranquil, so the overall effect is hypnotic. Well done:>
Definitely origami inspired. I like their hats. Have you seen that bit in "Spirited Away" when the paper figure follows Chihiro about? Reminds me of that.
I've looked at this 3 times now and like it more each time. its mysterious and subtle and yet very strong graphically. The quiet colors here work very well although I enjoy your brighter graphics below too.
They look like they are performing for many people and are in perfect form. Beautiful colors, feels like blue ice with these dancers caught at the peek of their abilities and grace. Such strong work!
Wonderful approach of japanese lexical way... the piece of origami, the strictly of all dancers and an effective expression in this picture ! Great, i love. Regards, Pascal (thank for your comment)
Your comment on my dancers made me laugh. Actually, I'll be 35 tomorrow. I've just always had a thing for history, and believe it or not, really like listening to Big Band and Swing music a lot. Crazy, huh?
aw, amazing work. my original piece was going to have an asian feel but i couldn't capture the essence of dance for some reason. this is fantastic, thanks for the comment
what a neat and unique illo!! I also like it that you used such an unusual color...not the usual gold and red. I like it!
p.s. I have fun with origami from time to time. One year I even got an origami calendar...each day I created a new piece! It didn't take long before I had 365 pieces of origami I had no idea what to do with! LOL!
Excellent drawing and strong Japanese feel:-)
