Excellent drawing and strong Japanese feel:-)
This is beautiful Michael! i love all the layers!!!
michael… this is great… it looks a little like we just walked in on an origami dance orgy univited…
Lovely, I also thought of origami (not necessarily a dance orgy).
Hi Micheal, I like how the dancers are drawn. You have demostrate the good use of shapes.By the way, thank you for your comment. I haven't create anything really creative lately. Burying myself in anatomy. The Singapore Night Safari is definitely worth a visit if you are in Singapore. Visit their website for details.
Very interesting and creative, nice colors. Does look like origami! Mary :-)

This is a very interesting piece. The color choices are very graphic, and I love your use of patterns. They do look like paper dolls come to life!
this is really cool and well done. I like the concept and the calmind colours...tnx for comments...guess you ave been in the Phil since you know s.miguel beer;)
I love how the entire piece has the feel of origami. Beautiful design!
Hello :)Like the graphic quality of this...and yes...the origami look is a nice touch :DCheers
Love the origami dance! Thanks for your comment to my IF post.
I like the origami look of this. I also like the patterned background.8^)
I love the feeling of movement you've achieved in this piece. It does have the look of origami, but it seems to be in rhythmic motion. The colors are very tranquil, so the overall effect is hypnotic. Well done:>
Definitely origami inspired. I like their hats. Have you seen that bit in "Spirited Away" when the paper figure follows Chihiro about? Reminds me of that.
There's a tempo/rhythm in the composition. Great feel to it.
I've looked at this 3 times now and like it more each time. its mysterious and subtle and yet very strong graphically. The quiet colors here work very well although I enjoy your brighter graphics below too.
They look like they are performing for many people and are in perfect form. Beautiful colors, feels like blue ice with these dancers caught at the peek of their abilities and grace. Such strong work!
this looks very special and interesting!
Fantastic! Too clever. I've never seen anything like it!! Well done!
Love the graceful and rythmic undulating movement! Nice!
Wonderful approach of japanese lexical way... the piece of origami, the strictly of all dancers and an effective expression in this picture ! Great, i love.Regards, Pascal (thank for your comment)
Ah, the forbidden dance of the oragami people! I like the floating paper above their heads, as if they're ready to multiply and take over the earth
I love the Asian feel with the cutout collage feel. Very nice juxtaposition.
Your comment on my dancers made me laugh. Actually, I'll be 35 tomorrow. I've just always had a thing for history, and believe it or not, really like listening to Big Band and Swing music a lot. Crazy, huh?
excellent graphic work - your style is such a perfect match to your subject that it indeed takes on movement of its own.
Very cool concept. I love the color scheme and the movement. Awesome.
Really stylish and contemporary design - I love the colours and sharp edges.
What an hypnotic image! i love the arms reaching up! great work! Thanks for your comments on my blog.
aw, amazing work. my original piece was going to have an asian feel but i couldn't capture the essence of dance for some reason. this is fantastic, thanks for the comment
Beautiful - it's origami, isn't it? it's very decorative too.
what a neat and unique illo!! I also like it that you used such an unusual color...not the usual gold and red. I like it!p.s. I have fun with origami from time to time. One year I even got an origami calendar...each day I created a new piece! It didn't take long before I had 365 pieces of origami I had no idea what to do with! LOL!
Oh this is great!
