Oh, now this is just gorgeous. I wish i were heading out to this lonesome red sunset, with these mountains the only skyline. Great car, license plate with skyline spelled out-so cool. Beautiful work and idea!
I like your skyline, Michael...the colors are perfect for this piece. I think I saw a car like this on the road home today.... but not quite so bright!
This is fabulous!! Do you have a Flicker account? I would love to feature this on my bloggy. Flickr makes that easy & allows your credits to be with the image.
Hi Michael, I tried to email you back but your email rejected me. So i will post here for you.
Hi Michael, It looks fine with out beams, but I thought it would look even better with them. You say you use Illustrator & PS To do it in either do these, chose an appropriate colour and make a couple of cone shapes with fill only and no outline colour. Then use your transparency setting to make them semi-transparent and overlap each other. If you really want to play you could use the gradient tool first instead of flat colour before lowering the transparency. Let me know how you go and good luck. Happy digi 2U
The contrast of the girl against the sky, with the gradient is really pleasing. I like the concept of the car riding off into the sunset, possibly leaving the girl of his dreams behind. I'd love to see the car with some shading and gradient.
Nice designing! It's nice to see someone playing with colour theory. Your imagery and composition are great. This would make a fabulous, really large glossy print!
michael… love the way the images flow… i keep thinking that i am seeing something more… thanks for the visit… and as long as you buy something… no one will be punching you…
Yep, I reckon Evangeline Lily as well. I love the way you've got her mysteriously growing out of the skyline... or is she a set of smoke signals? This has a bit of "Queens of the Stone Age" vibe to it. Fine composition and colour choices - this has a real vibe, all set for CD cover!
Cool!
