You have a way of rendering clean sharp lines and vivid colors that quietly bring the viewer to a purposeful message. Here a beautiful design signifying a very frightening condition of hydraphobia. Fascinating piece!
Wonderful piece! Bright colors, strong composition. Great use of white space!
Also wanted to thank you for your kind comment on my blog! My heart is truly all about painting - I have been waiting over 18 months to start this class. I really appreciate your support as I was so nervous after waiting so long and having my heart completely set on painting - that I might suck! I would have been completely heart-broken. Although I have a long way to go, I already feel more confident that I can do this! Thank you so much again for your support!
Michael--just wanted to get back to you about the rabies comment-- rabies is also known as "hydrophobia"-- fear of water. The reason for this is that rabies victims undergo painful throat muscle contractions in the presence of water... sad but true. I thought that's what you were getting at with your image! Of course people can fear water for other reasons...
Rabies!!!!
