I'm sure this past heat wave there were more then a few fire hydrants cracked open around the inner cities for the kids to refresh themselves.
This is more of of an experimental illo then a actual one. I was trying to achieve the look of sprayed water but looks more like cotton candy or clouds.
What it looks like to me is steam rising off the sidewalk as the kids play. I like it!
ReplyDeleteI think you have captured the feeling rather than the exact look ... the kids' postures, the way the heat is rising and the sidewalk is cooler ... I really like it as an emotional statement rather than realistic art.
