IF:trail
It was the end of the trail for her after one to many broken hearts.
I hurt myself today
to see if I still feel
I focus on the pain NIN
Pain runs deep
Deeper, probing
So intense
I scream into my soul
I find no release
I feel PAIN
PAIN
Morning
Night
Teardrop slides
Muffled crys
Weekley
Dailey
Hourly
Pain
Does it stop
Focus
Unfocus
There is no relief
I still feel
Slice
edge of blade

IF perspective
Double Standard, again ?
We have all seen men on tv drink beer after winning the World Series and smoke cigars after winning the Super Bowl and share champagne from the bowl on top of lord Stanley's cup, which is the crowning glory for any male hockey player. Then why the sissy fit news(gossip)this past Olympics over the Canadian women hockey team celebration of their gold medal. It was the accumulation of a life time achievement for most, why not celebrate like the guys do, or don't they have the same rights as the guys. It's the closest thing they will ever have to winning a Stanley Cup. So what that they drank beer and smoked cigars for over 2 hours. They deserved it, they WON!
I never see any reporter raging on the men for celebrating their victories each year, but that's my perspective.

Marketing is all about presentation. If you present a product just right there will always be someone willing to buy it. Point in case I phones, I pods, your connection to the internet to mention a few, Sure they're nice to have make us feel cool and in step with the rest of society, but seriously do you really need them. Do the make your life easier, better, more fulfilling or are you a slave to them. Do they control you and what you do. Just something to ponder next time your at a lost as to what to think about standing in the check outline.

The Ness Family
The Ness family where as Scottish as they came. They could trace their ancestry back to before Scotland was known as Scotland.
Wilder was Loch's lil brother and they could be always found swimming in the family lake. People would come for miles to see them swim. They never could understand why though. It was rumored that they had a distant cousin across the pond named Eliot, who was known to tangle with bad guys in da Windy City. But thats another story.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
Its the year of the Tiger. It comes only once every 12 years and now has come twice since my daughter was born. She just spent her 1st new year's away from home with friends in New York. It also was her 1st time flying the friendly skys by herself too.
New years, like new days I feel, are God's way of letting us know we haven't got it right yet, and he's giving us another chance to do so. Maybe one of our resolutions should be is to TRY HARDER to get it RIGHT. To be more loving, compassionate and lil more tolerant of each other. I mean after all none of our sorry asses are perfect. In the coming days, weeks and months a head try to focus a lil more on doing these things and I bet you'll have a more meaningful and productive NEW YEAR!

IF: magnify
Some magnify Miyamoto Mushashi as the worlds greatest swords man. Its been said, out of the 80 some fights he had, he only lost once to a man with a jo (wooden staff). Makes you wonder then if the man with the jo was incredibly lucky, incredibly skillful or Musahshi wasn't as good as they say.
